"If you are going to San Francisco..."
I've been told I'm a major homer. I love my city and get teased about how I missed my true calling as a San Francisco tour guide. I don't know about all that, but Brian and I get asked some of the same questions all the time: where should I eat? where should I shop? where should we go with kids...? I am finally getting my act together and creating my list of favorites!! This will be ever-evolving. There is too much goodness to fit in one small blogging page... here goes my official version #1 (ps. pics are in random order from all over the city) I picked some popular neighborhoods to start, but I'll try to get the others up and running soon:
Spent a lot of my childhood/youth around the Mission. Mexican influenced, hipster's paradise, foodie & boutique central. So much love for the mission... hard to keep this short.
My grandpa was a sailor and parked his boat in the marina, so my childhood has fond memories of foggy mornings taking the boat out for a day on the water. For the prettiest walks by the water, great shopping, and arguably the best burger options, go to the marina.
a little fancy, a little pricy, but the VIEWS... oh the gorgeous views...

We love North Beach. It's always pretty busy, full of charming little cafes and shops, and home to some of our favorite places to grab dinner- with kids and without!

Young area with plenty of people, boutiques, yogurt, and FOOD. We particularly love stopping at Bob's donuts when we're in the area, and getting whatever is warm for $1... it'll melt in your mouth. Mmm.
